Renderings for Santa Monica-based Belzberg Architects were recently submitted to the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board for its proposed mixed-used development near the Expo Line’s 17th Street station just off Colorado. This project is slated to be developed on the northwest corner of Colorado Avenue and Euclid Street, replacing an existing surface parking lot and a small building with a three-story complex comprised of 30,000 square feet of commercial space on top of 4,000 square feet of ground floor commercial uses. Below the building will be a subterranean parking structure of three levels for up to 92 spaces.

The low-rise development will feature two wings wrapping around an elevated courtyard and floor-to-ceiling windows across the entire building. Construction is slated to begin in 2018 with completion in 2019, according to environmental reports.
