3,000 SF Sublease with Term Through June 2020 Perfect for Tech/Start-Up Companies

A large portion of the spaces featured here on the Washington, DC page of TechOfficeSpaces.com have been designed by Wingate Hughes Architects. Simply put, they are a pillar in the DC tech community and one of the go-to architects for creative office users.

Like many of the explosive companies they’ve worked with, Wingate Hughes has experienced a spike in its headcount, driving the firm to seek a larger space elsewhere.  As a result, the firm recently relocated to 1424 K Street (a space they also happened to design), and in turn listed their former space on the market for sublease at 1010 Vermont Avenue.

Measuring just over 3,000 SF on the 5th floor, the suite is directly off of the elevator along the front portion of the building. And just like you’d expect, the suite incorporates several of the creative design elements frequently seen in their work, along with personal touches that mirror Wingate Hughes’ rich culture.

As Gavin Wingate Bowie puts it, “The Wingate Hughes office reflects our inventive thinking and is designed for our staff’s varying work styles so they can dream big and create amazing, breakthrough spaces. Our environment is conducive to productivity and imagination.”

Catering to a mostly open work environment, there is a whiskey-barrel wall lining the entire length of the space with refurbished wood beams hanging over top. There are meeting rooms, phone rooms and a pretty neat kitchen pantry with the building’s original walls exposed behind the bar.

The space comes fully furnished and at full capacity can accomodate 20-25 workstations, 2 private offices, 1 conference room, and 3 break out areas. The space is move-in ready and has a remaining lease term through June 30, 2020, though a longer term can be made available through the landlord.
