Amenity Space, Rooftop Deck & Flexible Suites Perfect for Creative Tenants

The Army & Navy Building, a staple in Farragut North since 1912, has recently been renovated by owner, Washington REIT to modernize the classic building.

Home to the Army and Navy Club on the first four floors (click here for a virtual tour), 1627 Eye Street has approximately 48,000 SF of office space available for lease on floors eight through twelve. In order to attract tenants with a dynamic workforce and not just those from the legal and not-for-profit sectors, Wash REIT invested a substantial amount of money to elevate the building to today’s modern standards.

A full renovation has been done to the main lobby, elevator cabs, restrooms, HVAC and most notably, the amenity space and rooftop terrace.

Nearly 3,000 SF of amenity space has been constructed on the top floor of the building to include a large shared conference room, wet bar for entertaining, and a litany of breakout spaces for impromptu meetings and lounging. A grand staircase connects the amenity space to the newly upgraded roof terrace, boasting outstanding views of Farragut Park. I have seen countless tenant lounges throughout the city, and this one is among the best. The relaxed atmosphere is great for escaping the four walls of your office, or for entertaining guests.

As for the office space itself, suites range from as small as 1,822 SF or an entire floor of 13,746 SF. The ownership has demo’d and whiteboxed the available full floors and installed carpeting, kitchenettes and new lighting in select areas that can be converted into spec suites on a moment’s notice.

The flexibility, location and amenities don’t get much better. For pricing, or to schedule a tour, please fill out the questionnaire or email us!!
