Carr Properties Is Expanding Its WaveOffice Workplace Platform to DC
Carr Properties is expanding its all-inclusive workplace platform, WaveOffice to a second location at 1615 L Street in Washington, DC.
Named for the fluidity that its workplace offers tenants, WaveOffice has been a hit in its original location at 3033 Wilson Blvd in Clarendon, already securing three tenants in just the few short months it has been in operation.
True to the ‘neighborhood’ style of working, WaveOffice will feature a shared communal area with shared amenities surrounded by 5 private suites ranging from 1,189 SF to 3,468 SF. The shared amenity zone features a tenant lounge, coffee bar, large open pantry, phone rooms, free wi-fi and two conference rooms that can accommodate 8-12 person meetings.
The target audience for WaveOffice are 5 to 25-person companies that may be graduating from traditional coworking hubs but still want the open and flexible lifestyle. The all-inclusive arrangement can be leased for as short as one year, and includes furnished and non-furnished options. It is also a great consideration for companies looking for short-term swing space while their permanent office space is being constructed.
Construction of the DC WaveOffice is underway with a target delivery date of March 2018. Additional building amenities at 1615 L Street include a two-story fitness center, a brand new 50-person conference center off the lobby and parking garage within building. For those that rely on public transportation, Farragut North Metro is two blocks to the west.
