Every so often we get a request for tech friendly office space outside of the traditional markets in Chicago (West Loop, Central Loop, East Loop, Fulton Market and River North). After coming across this 2,000-9,000 square foot opportunity at 1643 N. Milwaukee in Wicker Park we knew this would be a good property to highlight. With five floors, including a basement, the total building sums ~26,000 square feet.
As a new building (completed in 2016), they can offer all of the modern amenities (i.e. 24 hour controlled entrance, indoor parking, upgraded elevator controls, and turn-key build-outs). The location is ideal for commuters using the Blue Line, and employees who want to break away from the normal neighborhood amenities that are more typical in the CBD. It not unusual to take advantage of Stan’s Donuts, Big Star, The Violet Hour, Piece Pizza, and Enso which are all just blocks from 1643 N. Milwaukee.
Below are some pictures of the site and neighborhood. Contact me if you are looking for space in Wicker Park, or if you have questions about how this market compares to the others.
