Indeed has leased a huge new office space in a new tower under construction in downtown Seattle. The the online job search engine secured a long term lease for approximately 200, 000 SF. Indeed began their story in Seattle back in 2011 with just two engineers. Indeed has quietly been one of the fastest growing tech companies in the Seattle region.  It went from 80 in 2016 to 170 a year ago, now the company has reached almost 500 today. The new office will more than double Indeed’s existing presence in Seattle, including its existing office at the Russell Investments Center.

Seattle is the company’s largest engineering hub outside of its headquarters.

Skanska’s 38-story office tower currently under construction in downtown Seattle will be 686,000 SF. Regus’ Spaces has leased roughly 91,000 SF in the tower. Scheduled for completion in late 2019, the $392 million tower was designed by New Haven, Connecticut-based Pickard Chilton to be a crossroads between the central business district, the cultural hub of Benaroya Hall and the Seattle Art Museum, which are across the street from the tower at Second Avenue and University Street. JPC Architects of Bellevue is designing Indeed’s 2+U office space.
