Knotel, the flexible office space provider, just leased 39,000 square feet spanning across 5 full floors at United Group’s 29 West 35th Street, located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The 12 story building is also home to, customer experience management firm, Sprinklr, who occupy roughly 30,000 square feet. The rents at 29 West 35th Street range from $41 to $53 per square foot. A recent study determined that Knotel was the second largest coworking company in NYC, after WeWork, and has been rapidly expanding its portfolio. They already took more than 625,000 square feet around Manhattan this year including 60,323 square feet at 61 Broadway, 35,292 square feet at 45 West 45th Street and 28,405 square feet at 1407 Broadway. Time will tell if this growth is sustainable but most can agree that coworking as a whole is here to stay.
