Located on the corner of 5th Street and Grand Avenue in DTLA’s Financial District on Bunker Hill, the CalEdison Building has recently undergone an incredible creative re-positioning and attracted a host of new tenants to the 14-story, 277,000 square foot project. Originally designed by architect Allison & Allison in 1931 in striking art-deco style, its most recent renovation retained and underscored the building’s history and architectural integrity. From natural light to the original historical architecture, the office product CalEdison boasts are bright, airy and collaborative. With high ceilings throughout and private balconies on certain floors, the floor plates are flexible in order to accommodate all sorts of space requirements.

New amenities were recently added to the building as well. A Sweetgreen recently moved into the ground floor of the project. You can also have dinner and a drink at the Bunker Hill Bar & Grill. They also have a Nossa Familia Coffee, a Portland-based coffee house right in the lobby of the building. The entire project is also dog-friendly. They have also implemented a full service concierge by Luxury Attache whether you need to rent an on-site conference room, want a recommendation for lunch, need help planning an office party or need to book a flight, also located right in the lobby.

General Growth Properties (GGP) worked with Chicago-based architecture and interiors firm Archideas to build out their 9,500 SF space on the 7th floor of the building.

Other notable companies to have recently moved into CalEdison include H&M Innovation Labs, TubeScience, a video advertising firm, Systems Source, a commercial furniture dealership, Jerde Partnership, the law firm Akerman LLP, Narrative Capital and Practice Aligned Resources.

There are only a few vacant spaces (and a couple recently completed spec suites) left. Come join these growing companies at CalEdison DTLA
